INTERNATIONAL REGULATIONS ON BREEDING IKU

These Rules establish and regulate the procedure for registration and receipt of pedigree documents for litters of puppies whose birth is registered in the member organizations of " IKU ". The list of documentation is contained in the Annex to this Regulation.


1.The General provision on the breeding work of The international canine Union (IKU) is mandatory for all member countries of the IKU .

The descendants of two purebred parents of the same breed with pedigrees IKU accept without any limitation or qualification by the national canine organizations are purebred dogs and are entitled to accept IKU pedigree.

The certificates of origin recognized by the IKU are proof of the actual origin certified by the breeder and the national club; they do not guarantee certain qualities of the dogs.

Breeding activity is carried out only with the use of healthy from the veterinary side, genetically healthy, with a good nervous system of purebred dogs registered in the breeding books recognized by the IKU .
Members of the IKU pledge to prevent the appearance qualities when breeding, which can subsequently lead to poor performance and functional health of dogs.

Breeding dogs are allowed, with excluding them from breeding defects (deafness or blindness, cleft lip, cleft palate, defects of the teeth and jaw anomalies, epilepsy, cryptorchidism, monorchism, albinism, invalid colors, dysplasia TBS and others).
Members of the IKU are obliged to fight against various breed defects, constantly keep records of their development and provide reports to the IKU on demand.

Responsible for the breeding work are the national organizations of the IKU members. Members of the IKU are required to maintain control over tribal activities, as well as to keep breeding books.
Breeding and development breeds dogs should be based on long-term goals and ruled out from a view sick dogs, dogs with deficiencies in behavior or dogs with bad workers qualities.

In breeding can be allowed only healthy dogs. The task of the breeder is to check the suitability provided for use in breeding dogs for anatomical, behavioral and physical characteristics.

The breeder should provide a pedigree animal good conditions that meet their physical and psychological requirements. Until the puppies are from a breeder, he is obliged to create the conditions most favorable for physical and mental development and to socialize them.

The responsibility of the members (unions, associations, clubs, and kennels and other canine organizatsii) is to enact their own Tribal regulations which should be taken into consideration the specific breed characteristics.

2.Registration of mating of breeding producers.

Knit tribal producers is carried out according to the Regulation on breeding.

In fact knit in the "Certificate of tribal use" is filled "Act of mating". "The act of binding" is registered in the member organization "IKU" no later than 30 days from the moment of binding. 3. The rights and obligations of the owners of breeding bitches and males are regulated by national legal acts, regulations of clubs and nurseries.

In their absence, the provision on the breeding work of the IKU shall be considered valid. Breeders and stud dog owners are urged to outline all of the mutual agreement to binding in any form, and clearly define the financial obligations in the calculation for binding.
Owners of breeding bitches, it is recommended to take a bitch in person or by proxy (instructor binding) to the dog. If the bitch spends a few days the owner of the dog, all arising from the costs incurred by the females owner.

4.Responsibility.

According to the legislative decisions of various countries, the person who provides the animal with the content is responsible for causing damage to third parties. The owner or holder of breeding males agree to bear the costs at the conclusion of your personal personal insurance for these cases.

5. Selecting a dog.

6. Confirmation of mating.

The certificate on breeding use and the act of binding shall contain the following:
· Breed
· The nickname and the number of pedigree dog
* Nickname and number pedigree females
* Name and address of the dog owner
· Name and address of owner of bitch
· Date of mating
· The signature of the owner of males and females.
· Signature of instructor binding if such is present.
* Conditions pay always.
· The owner of the dog is obliged to issue a stamp after paying for binding with the owner of the bitches
* Only the act of binding to the brand is accepted for record keeping in the canine organization member of the IKU
· The owner of the dog may not change the terms of the binding after the signing of the binding. And has no legal rights on the sale of puppies in addition to their maintenance. a)selecting a puppy by the owner of the dog.

g)Special agreements if a bitch is empty or dead, or give birth to only one live puppy or up to the moment of delivery the puppy dies and other occasions.

A breeder is a person in whose possession (rental, condominium) is a bitch at the time of the final aktirovanie litter. In case of purchase of the tied bitch, possession is made out at the time of purchase. Delivery of the dog for breeding use is made out in a written lease Agreement between the landlord and the tenant with all the conditions. The lease agreement in this case is an integral part of the set of documents required for the registration of the litter. Co-ownership is made similar to the lease. 7. Manure activation.

The breeder has the right to take the "It card" before all the puppies will be arranged, in this case, it is required to report to the organization who registered the litter with the name and address of the new owners.

8. Identification.

The marking of the puppies or chipping.
Each dog bred and registered in one of the member countries or contractual partners of the IKU shall be provided with a chip or indelible and tamper-proof marking; this marking shall be indicated on the certificate of origin.

Identification tags are applied before (transfer) the sale of the first puppy from the litter by the breeder. Puppies that are considered alimony are also passed to the owner of the dog klejmenie.

9. Getting pedigree.

Pedigree is issued only in the country of origin of the puppy. 10. Artificial insemination can not be carried out in dogs that are not exhibited at the exhibition and have not previously multiplied naturally.

11. The tribal position of the countries members IKU and contractual partners in their demands, can be expanded, than IKU, unless they are in contradiction with international regulations on breeding to IKU.
